This website is operated by the Embark ISEF coaching team of Youfang Education (“Embark”, “we”), based in Shanghai, China (ICP licence 沪ICP备2024095673号-1). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site and our consultation channels, and how we handle it.

2. Information We Collect

  • Contact enquiries: when you message us via WhatsApp or WeChat Work, we receive the profile information those platforms share (display name, account identifier) and the content of your messages — typically a student’s grade, school region and research interests.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and performance. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

3. How We Use It

Enquiry information is used solely to respond to you, assess a student’s ISEF qualification path, and — if you choose to proceed — deliver coaching services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers strictly necessary to operate our services (e.g., scheduling and video-conferencing tools) or where required by law.

4. Students & Minors

Our services concern students in grades 9–12. Consultations and agreements are conducted with parents or legal guardians. Student research materials shared during coaching are treated as confidential under our coaching agreements, and student identities are never published on this site — results are reported at team level only.

5. Retention & Your Rights

Enquiry records are retained while relevant to an active or prospective coaching relationship and deleted thereafter on request. You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you or your child — contact us through the channels on the Contact page.

6. Cookies

This site uses only the technical cookies required by its content-management platform (e.g., for logged-in administration). No third-party advertising cookies are set.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
